West Crooked Lake Resort Park Rapids

Our family owned resort is surrounded by towering pines with a view of the lake from all cabins. We are located in the heart of the beautiful lakes area of northern Minnesota approximately 7 miles from Nevis and 15 miles from Park Rapids in the Paul Bunyan State Forest.

Cabin #1 is a one room suite located 15 feet from the lakeshore with a fully equipped kitchen, double bed and 3/4 bath.
Cabin #2 is a four bedroom cabin with a fully equipped kitchen, sleeper sofas in the basement and loft, and 2 baths.
Cabin #3 is a three bedroom cabin with a fully equipped kitchen, sleeper sofa in the living area and 3/4 bath.
Cabin #4 is a two bedroom cabin with a fully equipped kitchen, sleeper sofa in the living area and 3/4 bath.
Cabin #5 is a two bedroom cabin with a fully equipped kitchen, sleeper sofa in the living area and full bath.
Cabin #6 is a one bedroom cabin (plus loft) with a sleeper sofa.

All cabins are fully equipped for basic housekeeping. Cabin #2 has a very spacious kitchen with a dishwasher and a 408 sq ft lower patio. It also has an air conditioner and a TV with DVD/VCR. Cabin rental includes bed linens (for sleeper sofas also), kitchen linens and bath towels (with fresh towels provided during a weekly stay). Beach towels are available upon request. Each cabin has a very large deck with an excellent view of West Crooked Lake and is furnished with a gas grill, picnic table, deck box for storage and four lawn chairs. We also supply aluminum foil, plastic wrap, plastic bags and containers for food storage, kleenex, paper towels and hand soap. We do not supply paper products such as paper plates and napkins.

Rates: Additional charge for extra people over the rate basis is $75 per person per week or $20 per person per day. There is no additional charge for infants and children under the age of 5. Rates do not include state and local tax.

Additional Rentals: A paddle boat is available at no charge. Fishing boats and motors are available for rent by the day or week and a pontoon boat and canoe are available for rent by the hour, 1/2 day or full day. Please call or email us for more information on these rentals.

Check-in and Check-out: Weekly rentals start on Sunday and end on Saturday. Weekly check-in is at 12 noon on Sunday and check-out is at 12 noon on Saturday. A minimum stay of three consecutive days is required for daily rentals. Check-in for rentals of less than a week is at 4 pm and check-out is at 10 am.

Reservations: Telephone reservations and confirmed email reservations are held for 5 days, pending arrival of a deposit. Deposit required is one half of the rental for the period reserved. We do accept major credit cards.

Cancellations: All cancellations incur a $75 fee per cabin. You have the right to cancel with 60 days written notice. With 60-day cancellation notice, all advance funds will be returned less $75 per cabin cancellation fee. If written notice is given less than 60 days prior to your arrival date or reservation is made less than 60 days prior to arrival, all advance funds per cabin will be forfeited unless your rental dates for your cabin can be re-booked. No refunds will be given for early departures.

No pets allowed. Smoking is not allowed in the cabins. You are responsible for any damage, loss or excessive cleaning required as a result of your stay. You will be billed for any extra charges incurred.
